Expedition One Front and Rear JK Wrangler Bumpers

James and Robert Fonnesbeck of Expedition One dropped by the other day and we installed bumpers on Lucky 13, Currie Enterprises' 2013 JK Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon project. Expedition One Core Series front mid-width bumper has a clean, non-bulbous design (why are so many JK bumpers GIANT?). A Warn ZEON 10-S winch fit perfectly in the Core Series. Even the fairlead is centered correctly, as Expedition One supplies a centered or offset fairlead plate to accommodate any winch. After rotating the Rubicon Smart Bar swaybar motor up, the Expedition One Rubi Skid integrates perfectly under the Core front bumper and protects the swaybar disconnect as well as providing a flat skidplate up front. The rear is the almost the same bumper as the Expedition One Trail Series with swingaway tire carrier we've used in the past. Almost, that is. This Trail Series bumper is aluminum and weighs only 35 pounds! The whole assembly with tire carrier and bumper weighs approximately 85 pounds, about the same as the steel bumper alone. The tire carrier features the smooth one touch operation Expedition One pioneered. We like Expedition One products and these bumpers are no exception.
