Lou's Yard

I visited Lou Burcheff's yard over the weekend. Lou rents vehicles to the movies. The lead photo shows two GPWs and two MBs that were most recently seen in Captain America. All four were stock and in relatively good shape. Lou had a number of Vietnam-era AM General M151s. This one had 27 original miles on the odometer. Dodge Power Wagons came from the factory with black fenders. They could be ordered with body color fenders, though, as this one was. Lou's Power Wagon has original factory paint and has only a few thousand miles under its tires. I parked next to a forlorn-looking Jeep. I found that it was a 1978 CJ7 with the factory 304 V8, Turbo 400 transmission,  Quadratrac, and 54000 miles. It also had a rare split bench front seat. You'll be seeing more on Lou's Yard here and in the the pages of 4Wheel Drive & Sport Utility Magazine. www.armytruckrental.com
