If you’re reading this, then you’re probably already a fan of Jp magazine (thanks!) and a fellow enthusiast. So we wanted you to be the first to know about a slate of new and exciting changes we’re planning for the online version of Jp magazine aimed squarely at folks just like you.
What will it mean? More entertaining and informative editorial features from across our portfolio of like-minded brands, along with a host of other updates designed to create a unique online experience centered on the hobby we all care so deeply about.
Starting on August 1st, jpmagazine.com will become part of a network of sites all tailored specifically to the off-road community and experience. No, jpmagazine.com isn’t going away entirely. Instead it will become part of a group of six publications, including: FourWheeler, Petersen’s 4Wheel & Off-Road, Off-Road, 4Wheel Drive & Sport Utility, JP, and Mud Life. While the network will carry the FourWheeler banner, each publication will have its own unique landing page with the same great stories and personalities you’ve come to expect.
From the FourWheeler.com home page, you’ll be able to experience unique offerings from all six publications updated multiple times a day, along with the latest news about what’s going on in the off-road world and other words, photos, and videos we think you’re going to like.
Click on a story, and you’ll find a much cleaner and streamlined experience designed to eliminate the clutter, with bigger and better photography. We’ve also dramatically simplified the site navigation, allowing easy access to stories and one-click access to each brand’s main page. And you’ll be able to learn more about each publication’s editors, who are eager to share more of what they know with you -- from what they drive to the trails they drive them on.
And that’s only the beginning. Our goal is to get out of your way and give you the tools you need to become an integral part of an ever-evolving community of like-minded enthusiasts. In the near future, you’ll be able to create your own profile, allowing you to share photos and videos of what you drive and where you drive it, with mapping features and more. Users with the coolest stuff will be showcased on FourWheeler.com. In short, we want you to be the story as much as the stories you’ll find from our publications.
We really hope you like what you’ll see, and that you’ll bear with us as we roll out the changes and new features over the next several months. See you August 1st!
