The new Yokohama GEOLANDAR all terrain G015 tire will be available for your truck, Jeep, or SUV on April 1. This new A/T tire from Yokohama will replace the popular AT-S and may be one of the most innovative tires they have made yet.

With improved durability and traction compared to previous-generation GEOLANDAR tires, the G015 was designed to give trucks and SUVS that traction on any surface in any condition including snow. Thanks to the G015s sever snow service rating (signified by a mountain/snowflake symbol on the sidewall) from the Rubber Manufacturers Association, this tire is ready for winter wheeling.

Yokohama is putting backing up the durability claim with a 60,000-mile treadwear warranty for metric tires and 50,000 miles for floatation sizes. You won’t have to wait long to get the size tire your rig calls for, as Yokohama has updated the sizes they carry for the G015 to cover 96 percent of tire sizes used in today’s truck and SUV marketplace.

We haven’t been able to test a set of the new G015s yet, but you can bet we will. As soon as we have some miles underneath a set of our own, we will report back to you on their off-road performance.

The Yokohama GEOLANDAR will be available for purchase at your local tire shop on April 1 with over 60 LT and P/E metric size available immediately.

For more information on the G015, check out and comeback to for a detailed review soon.
