We've been kicking it around since Cappa still had the helm. We thought it would be cool to do a flatfender trip. We are one small step closer now. The idea was pretty simple, each editor take their flattie and we'd caravan somewhere. Route 66, 395, whatever. Some old road, or ghost town, or something. Some road miles, some wheeling. Problem was I didn't have a flattie. I haven't had one since the late 90s. I once again have one. Vitals are: '51 CJ3A with 283ci Chevy V-8, T90, Spicer 18 (with OD), stock axles, 31 inch tires. It fires and drives but needs a bit of work, so our trip is still a ways off, but we are now one step closer.
