Our long term Pickup Truck of the Year winner arrivesPosted in News on May 1, 2013 Comment (0)
Today we said farewell to our 2012 Pickup Truck of the Year winner (the Ram Power Wagon) and welcomed our 2013 winner, the Ram 1500 Outdoorsman into the long-term test fleet. We will miss the rugged capability of the Power Wagon and you can read the final 20,800-mile review in the August '13 issue. The 2013 Ram 1500 has already wowed us with a lot of features that make us love the truck. The new eight-speed automatic behind the 5.7L Hemi V-8 is just awesome. It really utilizes the V-8s power better than the previous transmission. The shifter knob (instead of a stalk) takes some getting used to but it's easier to use than a clunky stalk. Stay tuned for the full first quarter review of our long-term 2013 Ram 1500 Outdoorsman in an upcoming issue of Four Wheeler.
