Pentastar Problems

The Pentastar was the answer to the Jeep Wrangler's engine problem. Or maybe just the source of some new problems? Looks like some Pentastar 3.6L V-6 engines need new cylinder heads, which will be replaced under warranty.  Autoweek has the full story here, but if you have a Grand Cherokee or Wrangler with the 3.6L Pentastar engine you may be in line for a new set of cylinder heads. Good that they're fixing the issue. Kinda bad that you have to trust some dealership tech monkey to tear down and rebuild your brand-new engine. Hey, at least when it's working you love the nearly 300hp and economy. New engines are being built with the revised, heavier-duty cylinder heads.
