The lines between work and play are normally drawn in the sand when it comes to side-by-sides. There are machines designed for work—whether it be towing, hauling, or all of the above—and there are "toys" for playing. We are talking about go-fast and exploration. Now, Polaris has a "crossover" side-by-side for both. The new Polaris GENERAL XP 1000 combines the best of both worlds.
Available in a two-seat and four-seat model, the GENERAL XP distributes 100 horsepower to 30-inch Pro Armor Crawler tires. The GENERAL has 13.5 inches of ground clearance with an improved long-travel suspension, allowing the machine to negotiate almost any terrain. The machine also comes with high clearance A-arms, premium Walker Evans shocks, and long distance LED headlights. High coverage fender flares block mud and debris from hitting riders while mashing through the trails. There is also a 4,500-lb winch just in case you may need it.
"As the industry leader, we are relentlessly committed to introducing machines that exceed our customers' expectations and advance the industry," said Chris Musso, President of Polaris Off Road.
Polaris is taking advantage of its relationship with Rockford Fosgate Audio as the speakers, subwoofers and factory tuned Stage 4 audio kit come standard on the GENERAL XP 1000. Polaris exclusive Ride Command is also a standard feature with a 7-inch glove-touch display. The GENERAL also comes with plenty of storage for all of your essential gear.
Pricing starts at $22,999 for the two-seat GENERAL XP 1000 and $24,999 for the four-seat GENERAL XP 4 1000. The vehicle will be available in Matte Navy Blue and Glossy Stealth Grey.
