ARB Air Locker PowerTank - Product ReviewPosted in Product Reviews on February 1, 2003 Comment (0)
If you are running ARB air lockers in your four-wheeler, connecting them to your Power Tank is a no brainer. Advanced Air Systems offers an installation kit that has every part needed to connect your Power Tank to your ARB air lockers. The kit contains a billet aluminum manifold designed to mount one or two ARB solenoid valves, a pressure gauge, a pressure release valve, an inlet pressure compression fitting, and all the fittings necessary to connect your Power Tank outlet coupler. All fittings are sized to fit ARB's blue line. ARB solenoid valves, blue line, and switches are not included.
The kit also comes with easy-to-follow, detailed instructions, making installation quick and simple. This PowerTank ARB setup is a completely reliable system; you don't have to worry about compressor malfunctions. The pressure relief valve included in the kit is set at 100 psi to protect the air locker from overpressurization. The manifold is compact and easily mounted in many locations throughout your vehicle. A Power Tank such as the P-10 should provide hundreds of locker actuations.
The Power Tank is an economical way of operating your ARB air locker; it may run you $10 to $16 to refill the tank with C02, but the PT-10 tank is enough to inflate 33x12.5x15 tires 26 times from 10 to 25 psi -that's a lot of four-wheeling. The tank holds more than enough CO2 for airing your tires, locker actuations, some air tool operation, and maybe a buddy's tires, too.
Advanced Air Systems ARB air locker kit is an unbeatable system that is quiet and reliable. Power Tank is a great choice for all your airing needs out on the trail and at home.
