High-Performance Jeep Shocks
Dynatrac and Walker Evans Racing have announced a new line of extreme performance shocks designed specifically for Jeeps equipped with the best in aftermarket suspensions and axle assemblies.

The winner of 20 national championship titles, Walker Evans described the process. "While most off-roaders rarely travel at the kind of speeds we do in the Baja 1000, they still need the same energy absorption and wheel motion control when negotiating rough trails. These shocks are perfect for any Jeep with long-travel suspension, big tires, and aftermarket axles."

Unique features include:
* special dual-stage nitrogen-gas-charged valving
* easily accessible 16-way-adjustable control knobs at the remote reservoir
* full compatibility with stock TJ mounts and positions
* durable billet aluminum alloy components with fully anodized finishes
* abrasion-resistant braided-stainless reservoir hoses
* urethane mounts for noise-free operation
* completely rebuildable for long life

Available for all '97-and-newer Jeep Wranglers, these shocks are available directly from Dynatrac or any of its local distributors. More applications are coming soon

The kit uses adjustable control arms that are manufactured from DOM tubing and are pressure-tested to 70,000 pounds to ensure durability. The system is designed to be an easy bolt-on installation that requires no welding, cutting, or modifying of the frame. Rough Country provides all the necessary parts, including new rear coil springs designed specifically to counteract rear passenger-side spring fatigue and increase the life of the coils.

The Skidbrace
New from Rough Country Suspension Products is a power-steering skidplate and brace in one. A durable laser-cut bracket built from heavy 1/8-inch-thick steel, the Skidbrace bolts directly over your power-steering box to both protect it from damage and provide extra support. It's also designed to prevent the sloppy steering that comes from worn-out mounting holes and flexing in the frame. The Skidbrace sacrifices absolutely no ground clearance.

Extreme Short Shaft Kit
TeraFlex, manufacturer of suspensions, Low-range gearing, and heavy-duty axles, introduces its newest transfer-case component: the Extreme 231 Short Shaft Kit. Said to be the shortest slip-yoke eliminator available, the Extreme SS kit uses several innovative features to achieve maximum driveshaft length. The Extreme SS is at least 3 inches shorter than standard SYE kits and 1-1/2 inches shorter than an Atlas II. In all, the kit increases stock driveshaft length by more than 7 inches, a valuable gain for short-wheelbase vehicles.

The Extreme SS kit comes with all necessary components and hardware to modify the stock 231 transfer case. Speedometer readings are transferred through a tone ring and electronic sensor, which can be custom-calibrated by any OEM service center to match custom ring-and-pinion/tire-size modifications. It fits '91-and-newer NV231-equipped vehicles with electronic speedometers and comes with an exclusive two-year warranty.
