40 Years of Great Racks
Not enough room in the back of your Grand Cherokee? Con-Ferr Products has just released its new Defender Series line of roof racks to complement more than 40 years of roof rack products. The company's racks are made from 16-gauge, fully welded, 1-inch steel tubing finished with a black textured powdercoat. To help assist your night vision, light tabs are welded around the frame of the light rack. For more information, contact: Con-Ferr Products, (818) 848-2025, www.conferr.com.

Water-Cooled Heat
MIG welding just isn't enough for some enthusiasts these days. The super-clean look of a properly laid TIG bead is something to admire. To increase reliability with high-amp applications, Weldcraft introduces the CS310, a 310-amp water-cooled TIG torch. The D-handle design offers a self-indexing flat top that allows the operator to orient the torch by feel, improving control. The CS310 also uses Weldcraft's ColorSmart color-coded hose sets to quickly identify your input, return, and gas lines. For more information, contact: Weldcraft, (800) 752-7620, www.weldcraft.com.

Power Purifier
The new Cool Air Dam intake from Airaid for the '91-'95 Jeep Wrangler YJ is just what you need to help return the power you lost from those big tires you added last summer. Featuring a full-length intake tube and a computer-designed shroud, the Cool Air Dam is designed to isolate engine heat away from the air inlet and take advantage of the dense, cool air from outside the engine bay. Airaid uses its patented SynthaFlow filter that allows for both maximum airflow and superior filtration, down to 2 microns. For more information, contact: Airaid, www.airaid.com.

No More Ice
How many times have you had to settle for warm beverages on the trail because you ran out of ice? Fridge Freeze has something you may want to check out. The company's new 12-/24-volt and 110-volt refrigerator and freezer is available in sizes from 15- to 100-liter, ensuring there will be no shortage of cool drinks on your next adventure. The unit is manufactured in either anodized-diamond-plate or anodized-smooth-plate finishes. It has a standard thermostat that will keep the unit at a temperature between 40 and 20 degrees F. For more information, contact: Fridge Freeze, (619) 220-6003, www.fridgefreeze.com.

Gripping Power
After all the fabrication is done, the suspension has been installed and your project is near completion, it's the final touches that set it apart from the rest. New from Flaming River is the Cascade Steering Wheel. The wheel is a six-bolt 14-incher and uses premium-grade Italian leather in black or light gray on the grip to offset the polished billet aluminum spokes. For more information, contact: Flaming River, www.flamingriver.com.

Cargo Carrier
Being prepared often requires packing more gear than you think will be necessary. The new deluxe folding basket carrier from Valley Industries could be your answer. The carrier features a folding shank that allows the basket to fold up and lock in place when not in use, giving drivers 2 feet of clearance without having to detach the carrier from the hitch. Using 5/8-inch heavy-duty steel allows the carrier to carry as much as 500 pounds of extra cargo. For more information, contact: Valley Industries, (800) 344-3112, www.valleyindustries.com.

No More Blow-by
Jeep 4.2L 258ci engines were produced from '81 to '87 with stock plastic or stamped-steel valve covers that were prone to leaking and oil blow-by. PML's new Jeep valve cover features a large baffle integrated into the cover that blocks the oil and solves the PCV blow-by problem. Integrating the baffle into the casting ensures that no screws will loosen and fall into the valvetrain. In addition, a new billet oil cap has been added to secure the seal on top. All-Terrain Pack Mule
If getting deep into the woods away from the crowds is what you're looking for, then you are going to have to overcome some obstacles. When you need more than what your rig will carry alone, you may want to give Off-Road International's Tough Terrain Trailer a try. The new design uses a three-axis swivel hitch along with a high ground clearance and independent steel torsion suspension. There's plenty of room to carry your shovel, tools, Hi-Lift, food, tent, and anything else you need. Massive Meats
Bigger rocks means bigger tires. Maxxis has just released its massive Creepy Crawler tires with claw-link grip and rugged construction, available in sizes as large as 40 inches. This will be the company's first set of Creepy Crawlers to fit a 17-inch wheel. The unique multi-edged knob design and arrangement of sipes, together with big shoulder lugs, provide incredible traction, making them a popular choice for professional rockcrawlers. Transmission and Gear Lube in One
Having the ability to lube your transmission and transaxle with one bottle is something any four-wheeler can appreciate. New from AMSOIL is Manual Transmission & Transaxle Gear Lube that has been designed to meet special requirements for certain manual transmissions and transaxles. The lube provides superior hot and cold performance, customized additives for compatibility and smooth shifting, antiwear properties for longer component life, and increased resistance to oxidation.
