If you are looking for a great compact fire extinguisher, look no further. JEG's High Performance now carries the H3R Performance MaxOut and HalGuard lines of premium fire extinguishers in its Columbus, Ohio, retail stores and on its website at www.jegs.com. H3R Performance provides the automotive aftermarket with high-quality, UL-listed fire extinguishers that are made in the USA. MaxOut extinguishers contain an effective dry chemical agent. HalGuard "clean agent" extinguishers are unique new offerings that do not leave a messy residue -- desirable when protecting classic collector, high-performance, tuner, and race cars. Both extinguishers are effective on flammable liquid fires and do not conduct electricity back to the operator -- two important considerations when dealing with the types of fires most likely to occur in an automotive environment. Both units are packaged in rechargeable red or chrome-plated bottles and are available in a 1- or 2.5-pound versions.

Chevy's LS1 engine has set new standards for power output and light weight from a stock small-block engine. That makes it perfect for swapping into vehicles that can use an injection of 21st century muscle. One of the keys to making a successful LS1 swap is a high-quality custom harness, like these from Howell Engine Developments. The Howell LS1 harness makes hooking up the electronic engine and transmission controls as easy as plugging in the required connectors. Howell LS1 harnesses utilize GM high-temperature wire, original equipment Packard Weatherpack connectors, and high-temperature shielding to ensure the highest standard of reliability.

The Ford F-450/550 may be just the right truck to get the job done, but the factory-installed suspension leaves something to be desired. The new Kelderman suspension is a great choice for those owners looking for more out of their truck. The new system converts the suspension to a bolt-on air-ride system that is custom-engineered to make the F-450/550 ride great and change ride height a full 2 inches lower than the stock suspension.
The kit comes standard with an electronically controlled automatic height-control unit with air dump. More features of the system include being able to utilize the factory sway bar, a parallel trailing arm system that eliminates axle twist, minimal pinion angle movement, and a low-profile four-bag design that allows the truck to run 2 inches lower than the factory height. The kit includes a wiring harness, bolts, a compressor, and easy-to-read instructions.

AEM Brute Force diesel intakes are available for popular Cummins, Duramax, and Power Stroke diesel engines. Each system is independently tested to deliver over 33-percent more flow than the factory intake system to improve engine breathing. In addition to increasing power and getting the most performance from your stock or chipped diesel rig, increasing airflow helps to efficiently burn fuel, which cuts down on exhaust smoke and reduces oil contaminants caused by unburned fuel. AEM's reusable Dryflow air filter for its diesel applications is independently tested to flow 1,350 cfm by itself, which allows for longer service life and higher efficiency for maximum performance between cleanings. The Dryflow does not use oil to trap dirt, eliminating any chance of oil traveling up the inlet and fouling your sensors. AEM manufactures its Brute Force intakes from mandrel-bent, lightweight aircraft aluminum with high-strength TIG-welded brackets and fittings for maximum durability. The intake systems each include a heavy-duty steel heat shield with a powdercoated black finish, a complete hardware kit, and comprehensive photo installation instructions. The intakes are available with a silver powdercoat or mirror-polished finish.

Edge Products' new Jammer injectors provide ultimate driveability. Aftermarket modifications to your intake system increase fuel demand that often exceeds stock factory injector capabilities. These shortages, if not corrected, can result in fuel starvation and ensure engine damage. To address these shortcomings, Edge Products developed its new gas-engine Jammer injector with a major OEM supplier. Rated from 60 lb/hr at 43.5 psi to 83 lb/hr at 87 psi, the Jammer injector supplies the correct amount of fuel throughout the powerband. Precise pulse-width control (under 2 milliseconds) provides exceptional idle and off-idle performance while minimizing emissions. Typical applications include GM TPI/Gen III/Vortec V8s, turbocharged Buick V6s, Ford 5.0L and modular V8s, as well as Triton truck engines.

If the lift that you are currently running on your Jeep isn't enough, or if you are looking for an adjustable extra couple of inches, look no further. The Air-Over-Coil suspension kits from 4WD Products allow you to adjust the ride height and spring rate of your vehicle. This system provides all of the adjustment advantages of air suspension and the reliability of steel springs. Unlike an air-only suspension system, the Air-Over-Coil system is designed with on-road and off-road capability in mind. Progressive spring rate is the key. Because each bag's pressure can be adjusted individually, the vehicle can be fine-tuned front-to-back and side-to-side to compensate for load, off-camber situations, and torque roll associated with common coil suspensions. The retention of the coil springs as the basis for the suspension means that airbag or air system failure will not result in a loss of driveability. The system is not intended as a substitute for a suspension lift; rather, it is an upgrade for a lifted vehicle that has been properly set up to compensate for increased driveline angles, steering geometry, track bar, increased tire size, and so on. The new kits are available for the Jeep Wrangler (TJ), Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (LJ), Jeep Cherokee (XJ) and Jeep Grand Cherokee (ZJ).
