Better Fluid Choice
Q motor oil continues its role as the brand to help maximize power with the introduction of Q TorquePower Full Synthetic. This new advanced motor oil formulation is engineered to help maximize torque in the engines of hard-working trucks and SUVs to help give drivers the power they want for towing, hauling, and off-roading. Torque is a force that produces rotation, such as when an automobile engine delivers torque to the driveshaft and wheels, but poor power transfer can rob your engine of torque. Q's heat-activated formula helps maximize power transfer from the engine to the driveshaft to help truck and SUV owners get the torque needed to meet their towing and hauling needs. FASS is proud to introduce its new smaller fuel pump, the 95. The new unit offers the same fuel reliability, as well as water, dirt and (most importantly) air separation. The fuel pump is electronically controlled using a gerotor-type pump, has an adjustable psi regulator, a port for an optional fuel heater, as well as a port for gauge reading. There is also an extended-life fuel filter, a serviceable wire screen, and a water separator. It measures 8 inches wide by 3-1/2 inches deep by 12-1/8 inches tall. Bully Dog Technologies, the company famous for its performance products, has taken your safety and well-being into mind when developing its new Reverse Backing Alert System that alerts drivers to hazards behind their vehicle. Backing up always presents a certain amount of risk whether it's in a parking lot or in your driveway at home. The system uses four remote-mounted sensors to detect obstacles behind a vehicle when the Reverse gear is selected. When an obstacle is detected, an audible alarm is triggered to alert the driver. A wireless LCD display screen can be added to the system to add visual assistance while backing up if so desired. For more information, contact: Bully Dog Technologies, www.bullydog.com.
Wheel to Wheel Powertrain has released an intercooled version of its supercharger system for GM trucks and SUVs, featuring whisper-quiet Rotrex superchargers. This efficient, high-output version adds to the base system: a liquid-to-air intercooler with unique cast-aluminum tanks, and a heat exchanger with twin Spal cooling fans, resulting in 50-percent more horsepower over stock. The Rotrex supercharger head unit is the real highlight of the system. It uses patented planetary traction-drive roller technology to spin a turbocharger impeller. The traction drive self-regulates traction forces to the amount of torque being transferred, keeping the drive system very efficient. A special traction fluid flows through a special two-stage pump contained in the supercharger head unit, protecting and cooling the traction drive.
