Fear No Trail
Strength and performance are must-have features for any suspension system, especially when half the life of your trail rig is spent in the dirt. Superlift may have just what you're looking for in its new Jeep TJ 4- and 6-inch RockRunner long-arm lift kits. Both kits center on high-articulation link arms at each corner, providing exceptional clearance, full steering, and incredible suspension flex. The RockRunner arms feature internal swivels that out-travel Heim ends; steel-encased rubber bushings at certain link mounting points ensure bind-free articulation, vibration damping, extended service life, and noise-free operation. They bolt directly to the TJ axles (optional longer female swivel ends increase wheelbase by 1, 2, or 3 inches). The system's arms anchor to a two-piece skidpan assembly. Lift comes from taller-than-stock coil springs. Base RockRunner kits also include compression-travel-control components, threaded-style sway-bar quick-disconnects, and adjustable track bars with mounting brackets. Additional components included in the 6-inch kit include rear sway-bar disconnects, a dropped pitman arm, and extended-length braided-steel brake hoses. For more information, contact: Superlift Suspension Systems, (888) 299-4692, www.superlift.com.
Save Your Shocks for the Rocks
Have you installed a CV-type driveshaft on your Wrangler TJ and suffer from interference between your shocks and axlehousing? Check out these new rear shock extensions from JKS Mfg. that relocate the lower rear shock mounts away from the axlehousing. The additional clearance provides plenty of room for the shock absorbers to be installed without any interference. The rear shock extensions are just as effective on applications with extreme suspension travel, where the axlehousing rotates in response to excessive droop. Installation is simple and no welding is required, as the bolt-on extensions fit securely on the factory shock mounts. Anticorrosive mounting hardware is provided, and a durable powdercoat finish is applied for long-lasting protection. For more information, contact: JKS Mfg., (308) 762-6949, www.jksmfg.com.

If you own a Jeep CJ, you've probably come across the numerous lift kits still utilizing 30-year-old bracket designs and spacers. Rusty's Off-Road decided it was time to build a CJ kit that relieves your Jeep of stiff and bumpy rides. The company's new kit provides 3 inches of lift and the improves ride and handling over the stock suspension. The kit offers a flat axle-seat area, antifriction pads to reduce friction at the leaf tips, and tapered leaf ends. The leaves are also shot-peened to reduce stress. In addition to the four leaf springs, the kit comes with front and rear U-bolts and a set of Rusty's hydro shocks.
