EBC Yellowstuff Brake Pads
Getting brake balance right to get the best out of your truck brakes is important according to the folks at EBC Brakes. In response to popular demand, EBC has now introduced rear pad fitments of its high friction Yellowstuff pad range for popular trucks, to improve truck stopping even further. EBC Yellowstuff pads have a higher friction level than most stock or aftermarket brake pads and can offer a decent upgrade in stopping power for trucks used at speed or under heavy loads. With pressure metering or load sensing valves it is advisable to have the same friction levels at the front and rear wheels to maximize braking. What you do not want to do according to EBC is ever fit higher friction pads, like EBC Yellowstuff, in the rear without also fitting them in the front. Having these new high friction pads front and rear can increase your stopping by 10 to 15 percent, according to EBC. EBC pads also come coated with their unique "Brake-in" surface coating which is a heat-applied polymer coating with a mild abrasive particle which aids new pad bed in and scrubs off the glaze and tar spots on your rotors when the pads are installed. The coating is by design worn away after 50 to 100 miles to reveal the actual pad compound.
TJ Long-Arm System From BDS
The 4.5-inch long-arm system from BDS for the 1997-2006 Wrangler TJ was designed for serious off-road use as well as the daily commute. A true four-link system offers improved control both on and off road compared to any radius arm system. The four-link system is centered around four massive control arms. The adjustable upper control arms come standard with a flex joint and the lower fixed control arms have a flex joint at both ends.
The control arms are attached to 1/4-inch-thick steel mounting brackets that not only improve off road protection, but also increase the structural rigidity of the suspension system. Kevlar-lined stainless steel brake lines are included as well as BDS Ultimate front sway bar disconnects. A BDS exclusive heavy-duty front adjustable track bar is included to properly center the axle. Combine all of this with BDS Pro-Ride coils as well as custom-valved gas or hydraulic shocks and your TJ is ready for the trail!

Save Your Atlas and Your Tranny
The Atlas 2SP and Atlas 4SP are burly transfer cases, providing low gearing and torque for the trail. That's good for trail prowess and bad for your transmission's tail housing. Roark Fab Works has come up with the Atlas Support Ring to add an additional chassis mount for the Atlas 2SP and Atlas 4SP. The Atlas Support Ring clamps around the machined surface of the tail housing. This support takes the strain off of the transmission case. The ring includes a urethane mount and two tabs to weld to an existing or custom-fabricated crossmember. Prevent breakdowns on the trail with an Atlas Support Ring.
