Currie F9 Fabricated Housing Center
The strongest fabricated-style rearend housing is now available from Currie Enterprises. Available as a complete rearend or as a component for builders, the F9 features a 3/16-inch-thick Hi-Form 50 steel body, a 3/8-inch-thick Hi-Form 50 steel third member mounting face, and is machined to fit 3-or 3 1/4-inch tubes. Welded-in bulkheads inside the housing tie the face, the body, and the inner ends of the tubes together. Exclusive design provides maximum ground clearance at all pinion angles. Back brace kits are also available.
Retro Look, Modern Touch
If you're working on a trail rig with big, round headlights, this may be for you. Chevs of the '40s now produces seven-inch replacement round headlights with LED parking lights/turn signals built in. The bulbs appear monochromatic when the turn signals aren't being used, but as soon as the switch is thrown a bright LED section kicks on to tell the world that you need to turn. The headlights install easily and can be adjusted using conventional methods, and come with complete instructions. The signal function requires an LED flasher unit, which is sold separately.
