Fabricator Gloves
This all-new-style glove from Mechanix is designed for manipulating sheetmetal, welding, and creating bodywork. Made from 100 percent leather, this glove has what it takes to make any fabricator happy. These gloves are high-dexterity, and feature three heat-resistant cowhide panels on the heel, inside, and on the outer edge of the palm. Fingertip reinforcements help protect the index, middle, and ring fingers, while dual-layer leather knuckle bands prevent abrasions. We've tried them and can say that these gloves will be your new best friend if you're doing any type of hand-fabrication or TIG-welding. Info: 800/222-4296,

Brute Force for Diesel Pickups
AEM now offers a new line of intakes for Cummins, Duramax, and Powerstroke diesels. Each system is said to deliver at least 33 percent more flow than the factory intake system. In addition to increasing power, increasing airflow also helps to efficiently burn fuel, which reduces exhaust smoke, and oil contaminants caused by unburned fuel. Lower EGTs are a benefit as well. AEM's unique non-woven Dry-Flow filter media, which never needs to be oiled. Info: 310/484-2322,

Ford F-150 Lightbar
Check out the new Sleekster lightbar from Randy Ellis Design for all '04-'07 Ford F-150 pickups. The bar mounts directly to the frame, and easily mounts four lights up to 9 inches in diameter. The bar is manufactured from 1 3/4-inch, 0.120-wall steel tube, with CNC laser-cut brackets and light tabs, and is finished with a high-quality three-stage candy-chrome powdercoat. No drilling, cutting, or welding is required, and the bar bolts right up using existing bolt holes. Info: 602/803-1122,

Stop Your Titan/Armada
Stillen has a new super-lightweight brake upgrade for all Nissan Titans and Armadas. The system completely replaces the front OE brakes and utilizes six-piston AP Racing calipers and massive 15-inch two-piece rotor assemblies that are both cross-drilled and slotted. Extend Cell Range for the Trail
We tested this new Wilson cellphone signal amplification system for ourselves and were quite surprised with how well the system improved our phone's coverage. Easy to use, the kit connects directly to the antenna port of most cellphones with a model-specific antenna adapter cord. The kit ensures the maximum signal strength allowed by the FCC (3 watts) and greatly reduces disconnects, drop-outs, and background/interference noise. Our testing involveda Motorola V557 phone and the roof-mounted magnetic antenna. Info: 866/294-6996,

Colorado/Canyon Performance Chip
JET Performance Products has released two new performance modules for the '04-'07 Chevy Colorado/GMC Canyon. New '07 Tahoe Intake
This all-new cool-air dam intake system from Airaid for the new-generation Tahoe takes full advantage of GM's upgraded intake plumbing and larger throttle body to generate even more horsepower and torque while also improving throttle response. This kit is dyno-proven to generate an additional 22 hp and 28 lb-ft of torque at the wheels. The new system utilizes a huge 1,600-cfm SynthaFlow filter element that is isolated from engine heat by a computer-designed cool-air dam. The SynthaFlow filter is a specially blended combination of cotton gauze and synthetic layers that is said to consistently filter down to two microns. This new intake will also fit the '07 GMC Yukon with the 5.3L V-8 and '07 Cadillac Escalade with the new 6.2L V-8. Info: 800/498-6951,

HD Flat-top Dana 44 Knuckles
Dedenbear now offers high-strength Dana 44 knuckles for Ford and Chevy axles. These knuckles are cast from high-strength ductile iron and feature extra material and ribbing in critical areas. The tops of these knuckles are machined flat to accept aftermarket high-steer arms and they also have a fourth bolt hole to increase clamping force and shear strength. The knuckles are powdercoated and fully interchangeable with all factory Dana 44 components. Info: 925/935-3025,

Better Brakes for '07 Tahoe, Escalade, Denali, and Yukon
Baer Brake Systems offers the EradiSpeed-Plus-One performance rotor upgrade for the all-new '07 GM Tahoe, Escalade, Denali, and Yukon SUVs. This kit adds leverage and braking power much the way a fulcrum and longer lever reduce the effort of lifting a heavy object. The larger-than-stock rotors (15-inch front, 14-inch rear) restore lost performance and may improve it over stock. The kit requires no alteration of the factory ABS or even a change in brake pads; and because only the rotors and caliper brackets are changed, it is not necessary to bleed the brakes. This upgrade features cross-drilled, slotted, and zinc-washed rotors, and they come with a limited lifetime warranty against warpage. Info: 602/233-1411,
