Regear and More
AEV recently launched the updated ProCal Module for JK Wranglers. This new version will continue to offer all of the same recalibration capabilities, but it now offers enhanced features and is fully compatible with the ’12 Wrangler. This means that for customers with ’12 JKs who want ring-and-pinion changes, there is no more concern about the vehicle going into limp-mode after the change has been made. The updated ProCal Module remains a plug-and-play solution to correct speedometer and ESP errors after a gear ratio and tire size change, as well as having the ability to adjust thresholds on the TPMS system, enable or disable DRLs, allow for temporary engine high-idle capability, engine diagnostic code clearing, steering wheel on-center verification, and one-touch turn signal enable/disable.

Quiet Impact
Ingersoll Rand has expanded its MAX family of air tools with the all-new 2145QiMAX Quiet Impactool. Designed to deliver best-in-class power and industrial-grade durability with much-lower sound levels, the 2145QiMAX impact weighs in at just 7.4 pounds, yet delivers 1350 lb-ft of maximum reverse torque. This is all made possible by a new seven-vane air motor that’s 16 percent more efficient than its predecessor, which means less money spent on compressed air. Like its MAX family brethren, the 2145QiMAX features a patented four-position power regulator dial, a feather-touch trigger for greater control, and a patented one-hand forward/reverse mechanism for easy operation. The 2145QiMAX utilizes the original Ingersoll Rand twin-hammer mechanism, which features proprietary advanced metallurgy for increased performance and longer tool life, and an innovative new steel wear plate that provides extreme wear resistance. The impact also features a new easy-to-clean inlet prescreen that captures debris and is easily serviced by tool operators, along with an improved grease fitting for easy maintenance, which reduces down time while increasing tool life and performance.
