JK Crossover Solution
Having problems with front driveshaft clearance after lifting your ’12 Jeep Wrangler? If so, aFe has the solution you have been looking for. The aFe Mach Force XP Jeep Y-pipe reroutes the factory exhaust from the front of the of the transmission crossmember to behind the transfer case, freeing up valuable space needed by the front driveshaft when a lift, or increased travel, has been added. This Y-pipe maintains the equal-length characteristics of the stock exhaust and features stainless steel mandrel-bent tubing with OE flanges and 100 percent hand-TIG welded construction that resists corrosion. A true merged collector is used to increase and balance flow while reducing backpressure to diminish exhaust noise. The smooth curves and increased diameter (two 2-inch tubes into one 2.5-inch tube) helps remove restriction and keeps exhaust gas flowing smoothly for improved performance and durability on and off the trails. All components are supplied for a hassle-free installation with no modifications necessary.

Plate Mount
Complete your aftermarket bumper with this new roller fairlead license plate bracket that includes an added cabled lanyard designed for theft prevention. Drilling is no longer needed to install your front plate, as this bracket has heavy-duty steel clips that attach to the roller fairlead. Give it a hard tug to remove for winching, and it hangs until you push it back into place and it fits all standard roller fairleads. The added cabled lanyard makes it nearly impossible for someone to steal your front plate.

Welding App
Miller Electric Manufacturing Company has developed the Miller Weld Setting Calculator app, which is available for the iPhone or iPad at millerwelds.com/weldsettings. The calculator allows welders to conveniently access stick, TIG, and MIG equipment settings and other helpful tips. Upon entering the welding parameters, such as the type of material and material thickness being welded, the calculator will provide suggested settings, including wire size and wire feed speed, shielding gas, voltage range and amperage range. All suggested settings are approximate and welds should be tested to confirm they meet with user specifications.

Ultimate HD
Fabtech’s new 4-inch Ultimate System for GM’s ’11 Silverado and Sierra HD pickups provides a mild lift height with an additional 2 inches of wheel travel for use with 35-inch-tall tires. Fabtech has developed this system to utilize replacement upper control arms that are constructed of 1.50-inch OD, 0.120-inch-thick-wall DOM tubing with heavy-duty extended range ball joints. The new upper control arms are used in conjunction with Fabtech’s ductile iron steering knuckles for proper ball joint and steering angles. The factory torsion bars remain in the stock position and use new forged adjusting keys to provide the proper amount of lift without excessive preload. Best of all, there is no loss of ground clearance with this system. MSRP starts at $1,169 for the complete 4-inch system with shocks.

Extreme Shovel
Military folding shovels are compact and well suited for garden-variety camping duty. Full-sized landscaping shovels are more functional but are a pain to pack. Extreme Outback Products offers the best of both worlds for people who do serious digging but need stowable convenience. The Ultimate Shovel, engineered in Australia and tested in the Outback, is a three-piece shovel that features a muti-core, steel-reinforced fiberglass shaft. Unlike imitation models that aren’t reinforced, the Ultimate Shovel won’t snap while digging out vehicles buried in deep sand. When the job requires only a spade, the D-handle’s steel threads screw directly into the 7.5-inch-wide heat-treated blade assembly. All three pieces stow in an included bag.
