Weld Center
HTP America has announced the Invertig 221 AC/DC Inverter Welder that will allow you to produce professional welds with all types of metal. The 221 has a full 220 amps of welding power, yet it only weighs 40 pounds. The Invertig 221 is the only welder in its class with independent AC amperage adjustment. This feature gives you precise control over the heat input to both the work piece and the tungsten by allowing you to separately adjust the electrode negative and electrode positive amperage. The 221 also offers you the ability to adjust the AC frequency from 20 Hz to 200 Hz; the high AC frequency gives you a more focused arc with greater arc control. The Invertig 221 is also a capable DC welder with a smooth, stable arc coupled with the 221’s high-speed DC pulse, which makes intricate work on mild steel, 4130, stainless, Inconel, and titanium a breeze. The Invertig 221 can store up to 64 separate welding programs and provides outstanding performance when stick welding in either AC or DC modes. There are three models to choose from, air cooled, water cooled or dual voltage and every Invertig 221 comes with a three-year warranty and a 90-day money back guarantee.

Kickin’ Back
Kicker Performance Audio has developed a solution for iPod or iPhone users to easily add tunes to vehicles not previously equipped with a music source. The PXi50.2 Amplified Controller for iPod and iPhone delivers weather-resistance while providing a way for users to enjoy their music library while driving, and without any head unit. The small-footprint device features a control/amplifier unit that connects with an iPod or iPhone and delivers 50 watts of power (25w x 2 at 2 Ohms) to any aftermarket audio system in most any vehicle. The tiny amplifier can be mounted or hidden, and its low current draw is perfect for small charging systems. The wired remote that handles volume, basic track control, and on/off power can be positioned within easy reach. Once an iPod or iPhone is docked on the integrated 66-inch connection cable, the PXi50.2 provides continuous charging to the device but also pauses the music when the power is turned off. The PXi50.2 features powered outputs for adding a pair of speakers, resulting in a complete audio system. For audio clarity, it uses a full differential audio circuit to protect against engine noise and also provides line-level outputs and can be used with multiple or higher-powered amplifiers in a bigger system. A 1⁄8-inch (3.5mm) auxiliary-input jack allows the connection of other audio devices.
