The Site Commander commercial cap from A.R.E. is now available for the ’09-’13 Ford F-150 longbed. Inside the fiberglass cap is a Bedslide sliding cargo tray de-signed to provide quick access to gear. The exterior of the cap is fitted with lockable storage bins and is said to be compatible with most brands of commercial-ladder racks. Each Site Commander is painted by A.R.E using the trucks OEM color code and a standard DuPont base coat and clear. The cap comes with a three-year warranty on materials and workmanship.
Viair offers eight varieties of Onboard Air Systems designed to power a range of devices such as pneumatic locking differentials, air horns and small air tools, in addition to serving as tire inflators. Systems include a compressor, air tank, fittings, pressure switch, relay, wiring, electrical parts, dash panel monitor, and mounting hardware.
MBRP’s single-side cat-back exhaust is new for the ’11-’13 Ford F-150 fitted with the 6.2L V-8 engine. Each kit is equipped with 3½-inch mandrel-bent pipe, a high-flow muffler, and polished T-304 exhaust tip. Stainless steel T409 XP Series and heavy-duty aluminized Installer Series versions are available.
Trail-Gear has expanded its 17x9-inch Creeper Lock aluminum beadlock wheel line to include 8-lug versions. The Creeper Locks are offered with a 4.25- and 5.00-inch backspacing and the 8-lug versions are fitted with a 51⁄8-inch center bore. Each wheel has steel Time-Serts, 5⁄16-inch Grade 8 bolts, and are rated at 2,800 pounds. Optional beadlock ring colors are available.

The Quick-Release fire extinguisher mount from Off-Road Solutions (ORS) is designed for 1-, 2.5-, and 5-pound fire extinguishers. Each unit features two billet-aluminum mounting brackets and stainless steel pins. ORS offers optional hose clamps, as well as upgraded billet clamps for the 2.5-pound extinguishers and 1¾-inch rollbar tubing. Assembled bracket dimensions are 7x1x1.25 inches. The ORS Quick-Release mount is NHRA-approved.
The Evolution CS/CTS platform from Edge is designed for the ’11-’13 GM ¾- and 1-ton trucks fitted with the 6.6L Duramax engine. The modules are said to add up to 81hp and 170 lb-ft of torque and include a speed-limit adjuster and tire-size calibrator. All power and economy gains are delivered with the truck’s emissions system intact.
Hobart Welding Products has upgraded the Handler 140 wire-feed MIG welder. Its latest features include an industrial, cast aluminum wire-drive system, five-position voltage-control selector, and 200-amp work clamp. The new 140 features are said to increase arc control along with providing the 57-pound welder with a thermal-protection indicator light that alerts the user if the welder is becoming overheated. The Handler 140 can operate on 115/120-volt (20-amp) home circuits and has an output range of 25 to 140 amps.
Ingersoll Rand’s 2350XP ½-inch Composite Impactool is equipped with a six-vane motor and twin-hammer impact mechanism. The 2350XP weighs 4.1 pounds and is said to deliver 690 lb-ft of reverse torque. The silenced tool technology is designed to reduce noise levels and is fitted with a grease port for ease of maintenance.

Mickey Thompson’s Baja Claw TTC Radial line has expanded to include a 37x12.50R17. Placed along the directional radial’s outer tread blocks are mud scoops that continue the aggressive 23-degree lug pattern. To help increase puncture resistance and improve handling, the Baja Claw TTC Radial is fitted with a reinforced three-ply PowerPly sidewall.
