Kwik Jak In Sand

We would recommend affixing an aluminum plate (or plywood if you are on a budget) to the bottom if you plan to use the Kwik Jak in the sand or snow. The Kwik Jak worked in the rocks, but it was a bit unnerving to crawl under the vehicle to thread in the CO2 canister. Baja Designs offers an extension kit that we would recommend in unstable terrain. Our friend Dave Perez made an adapter to hook the Kwik Jak up to our Powertank, but even with the regulator cranked all the way up the pressure was not high enough to lift the vehicle.
