Daystar Cam Cans Fluid Storage

We all know we’re supposed to carry extra fluids when adventuring off onto a road less traveled. That being said, how many of you actually carry coolant, oil, transmission fluid, spare fuel, or even just extra water with you? Yes, we’ve been guilty of it ourselves.

For our off-road vehicles, there is a new kit that allows emergency liquids to be carried on a five-lug wheel pattern of a spare tire. Daystar’s new Cam Can kit carries one or two cans that quickly and easily lock into place on a centered shank.

There are two can colors available—a gray one for potable water and a green one for carrying any extra oils. Both are identical in construction and allow you to mix and match for whatever you may need to carry. They’re a great way to bring what could be some lifesaving fluids without having to take up a bunch of room inside the cabin of a 4x4.

The new Trail Box was recently released at SEMA and gives a new option for gear storage. It’s big enough to fit a recovery strap or some tools into, and it clips onto the Cam Can mounts the same as the rest of the Cam Can line. Since you can put a lock on the end of the mounting plate’s shank, you can feel safe about storing some pricier tools that you wouldn’t want to see walk away.
