Trail-Gear’s differential armor
this is designed to fend off marauding rocks that would otherwise leave you stranded. It’s available for front and rear Suzuki Samurai axles, Toyota Tacoma rear axles, and Toyota FJ Cruiser rear axles. Installation requires simple welding. Shipped in raw steel; paint after welding.
- Samurai armor is crafted from 3/16-inch-thick A36 steel. It’s precision–laser-cut and CNC-formed for an ideal fit
- Tacoma and FJ Cruiser armor is made from 1/4-inch-thick A36 steel. Like the Samurai armor, it’s precision–laser-cut and CNC-formed, making fit-up and welding a breeze. The Tacoma version fits 1995-to-2004 Tacomas and 2000-to-2006 Tundra pickups. Does not fit axles equipped with the factory E-locker. The FJ Cruiser version fits 2007-to-current FJs, 2003-and-newer 4Runners, and 2005-and-newer Tacomas
