The Latest Products For Your Jeep
Got a ’13-and-up 3.6L-equipped Jeep? Check out this bolt-on compressor bracket from Synergy Suspension. If you have a JK you know what a premium under hood space is. So if you are looking for a space to mount either a Viair or ARB compressor under the hood, look no more. This bracket bolts to the 3.6L and accepts the Viair 100,400, and 450 series compressors or ARB’s standard and mini compressors. It positions the compressors in easy range for hard-wiring to the battery and once mounted, you will always have your compressor on hand. The bracket’s suggested price is only $60.

Normally custom stuff is really expensive, and while we aren’t going to tell you these shocks are the price of non-gas-charged shocks (they aren’t), what we can talk about is the value built into them. Doetsch Tech has been building shocks a long time and brings its experience to bear to build a shock for you based on your input at the time of the order. Things like weight and desired ride firmness can be factored in before the shock gets to your door. Each shock absorber is hand-built in the USA and the remote-reservoir clamps shown are optional. They are available in metallic silver, zinc-plated, and chrome finishes.

Rust Belt Jeepers will really appreciate this new product from Classic Enterprises. The floor support torque box is where the three body mounts bolt into, and in the Rust Belt, this panel can rot away quickly, leaving most of the body unsupported. Available in a full-length version and a shorter 37-inch long section, they are stamped from factory-spec gauge sheetmetal. The panels include captured nuts so you can easily reuse the stock-spec metric body mount bolts, and of course they are made in the USA.

OR-Fab has introduced new rocker panel protection for the ’07-‘13 Wrangler. Available for both two- and four-door models, these rocker guards feature 0.120-wall tube that is tucked up tight to the body. The tube protects your Jeep, and the way it tucks up to the body means you will be less likely to smack your ankles on it getting in and out. The rockers are precision laser cut for a great fit and easy install. They are available in either gloss black or wrinkle textured black powdercoating.
The Three S’s
Unless you are a dirty, unwashed, hairy hippie-type, we all tend to the three S’s from time to time. Synergy Suspension has just made it easier with their Sit Shower Shave kit. Included in the 5-gallon bucket is everything you need to take care of your bathroom needs. It includes Wag Bags, a toilet seat and lid, and a hot shower. The shower gets hot through a heat exchanger that can be mounted on any flat surface and the water is pumped with a heavy-duty diaphragm pump which can be used in fresh or salt water. The kit includes barb fittings, quick disconnect fittings, a shower head with an on/off switch, and 50 feet of fiber-reinforced hose.

If a Cummins engine is on your list, check out this accessory mount from Jonesy’s Off-Road Fabrication. Most 4BT engines didn’t have an A/C mount, and the 6BT engines put the compressor so low that it often interferes with framerails. This billet aluminum mount fixes that problem by shifting the mount to the top of the engine. It also includes a new thermostat housing and formed neck for the upper radiator hose. Not running A/C in your Jeep? Well, now you’ve got a way to easily bolt that York compressor for your on-board air to your oil-burner.

Who would take the highest-clearance tube fender on the market and redesign it to make a new line of fenders that have less clearance? On the surface, it sounds odd, but some people just want the strength of a one-piece fender with 0.120-wall tube. These new OverLAND fenders maintain the high quality of craftsmanship and precision fit that customers have come to expect from MetalCloak. As of this writing, they are available in steel, but by the time you read this, aluminum versions should be available as well.
We aren’t talking about making your future more stable; we are talking about this futuristic stabilizer from FOX. The unique through-shaft design offers damping in both directions which beats dual stabilizers any day. Available for ’07-’13 Wranglers, the stabilizer features an external reservoir for more fluid capacity that will keep it cooler when being worked hard. It also features a 24 position user-adjustable fine tuning knob to get the steering feel just the way you want it. If that isn’t enough, the kit includes mounts to relocate the stabilizer higher off the ground and out of the way of trail obstacles.
We don’t know about you guys, but we are at the point that we buy our oil filters by the case, and we hate it. That’s why we were psyched when we found this billet stainless steel oil filter from Scott’s Performance. It features a medical-grade, stainless steel filtering element that is cleanable and reusable. It filters down to 35 microns and flows up to seven times better than one of the oil filters in our case. Using the same technology as in NASCAR filters, contaminants are picked up by a neodymium magnet before they even get to the filter element. When it is time for an oil change, just open it up, check for chunks, clean it, and replace. Available applications include ’87-’12 Jeeps with the inline four-cylinder, inline six-cylinder, and Hemi engines.
