If you own an IFS Chevy or GMC then you have two options to elevate it: a solid axle swap, which can cost you lots of money, or an IFS suspension lift. The problem with IFS suspension kits is that you must lower your torsion-bar crossmember below the framerails, creating a plow below your vehicle that can get you high-centered very easily. This is the number-one complaint of lifted IFS owners who use their trucks off-road. Now a company called Realift has come up with a solution to your torsion-bar woes with a torsion-bar relocator to eliminate the need for dropping down the torsion-bar crossmember. Applications are available for S-10 and fullsize GM trucks. If you look at the before and after pictures, it is obvious the difference this easy bolt-on makes.
