In the soupy stuff, the Coopers oozed mud across the tire surface and to the outside of the tire. Traction was very good for a mud tire and the non-directional design meant forward and reverse progress was similar. The tires would load up in heavy mud, but continued to pull through effectively. The tires did not perform as well as a super-aggressive bias mud tire, but worked admirably for the versatile tread they have.
