2014 Lift Kits
There is a full new line of suspension lifts from BDS for the ’14 Wrangler. The 2-, 3-, 4-, and 4.5-inch short-arm versions have been tested for FMVSS no. 126 compliance (electronic vehicle stability control) with the long-arm kits currently being tested. The long-arm kits are available in 4- and 6.5-inch configurations. There are kits available to fit both two- and four-door Wranglers. The base kits are available with BDS-5500 shocks with Fox 2.0 shocks available as an upgrade on the taller kits.

Founded by the U.S. Department of Energy, UCONN, the manufacturer of Fitch Fuel catalyst, has come up with a catalyst through extensive testing and experimentation. This catalyst has the ability to selectively remove hydrogen or add oxygen to hydrocarbon components of fuel. The catalyst demonstrated the ability to produce reformed fuel species at room temperature, which is novel and provides evidence these catalysts are broadly applicable in fuel applications and can result in better mileage and power.

This revolutionary third member from JRAT Offroad and associated axle assembly has just changed the game. The third member can be installed in either high-pinion or low-pinion configurations and uses all Dana 60 carriers, gearsets, and so forth. That’s right, high-pinion, low-pinion, driver-drop, passenger-drop, or any configuration you want you can have from the same center section. The bolt patterns are symmetrical, and because it uses Dana 60 parts, there are many gear ratios and types available. The axle assembly is from Ruffstuff Specialties, but can be ordered through JRAT Offroad as well.

These cool new key chains are laser-cut from mild steel right here in the good old USA by East Coast Willys. They all measure just over 3 inches wide and are varying heights in keeping with the scale of the Jeep model they represent. As of this writing, the company has 9 different models available, including everything from an MB up to current models. Soon it should also have several FSJ models, a slat grille MB, and an FJ Cruiser (yeah, we know it’s not a Jeep). The key chains will cost a mere $7, and each one ships with a split ring for easy attachment to your keys.

While the company offers too many custom panels to list here, we sure like the looks of this in-cab winch control and starter panel, and not just because it says “Jp Magazine” on it. Wiring Products ships the panels ready to install. This particular one has an on/off switch, a momentary waterproof starter button, a built-in fuse holder, and a red on/off light. On the winch side of things are green lights to indicate winch out or winch in and a momentary dual-pole toggle switch. Many sizes and configurations are available, and most ship within 24 to 48 hours.
