ARB is most famous for its Air Lockers and Old Man Emu suspensions, but ARB has been introducing other Australian products to America that have been embraced by the 4-wheel community, like freezer fridges and drawers. The latest offering from ARB is designed for when you are in your drawers: the Skydome Swag. A “swag” is a traditional Australian canvas shelter that has evolved to be similar to a tent, but with a few notable differences.

The Skydome Swag is like a miniature dome tent that contains an integrated foam mattress so you don’t have to carry a separate sleeping pad. You can even roll your sleeping bag up in to the swag. It’s waterproof so you can transport the swag on your roof or in the bed of your truck. In fact, you might need to transport the swag on your roof, as it is neither small nor light (30 pounds). Even rolled up the swag is nearly 5 feet wide, 18 inches across.

If you are the kind of guy who hates reading instructions, ARB’s Skydome Swag is for you

If you are the kind of guy who hates reading instructions, ARB’s Skydome Swag is perfect for you. If you are the kind of guy who wants to stand up in his tent to change clothes in the morning, the Skydome Swag is not the best option. It is perfect for kids who want their own tent though, particularly with the integrated bedding and the ability to stargaze out of one of the many windows.
