2015 GM Up
BDS Suspension is now offering its 6.5-inch high-clearance suspension for new 2015 Chevy/GMC 2500HD 4WD trucks. The front suspension utilizes a pair of one-piece high-clearance crossmembers, diff relocation brackets, heavy-duty differential skidplate, support brace, and front skidplate to create a sturdy subframe and improved off-road protection. A pair of CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles dwarf the factory units and span the extra distance without increasing track width. A pair of lower A-arm mounted relocation brackets with integrated bumpstop extensions maximize ground clearance without lowering the torsion bar crossmember as with other kits. Out back, the kit is offered with 3- or 5-inch rear blocks to achieve your desired stance, and new stainless brakes lines, extended sway bar links, and your choice of BDS 5500 or Fox 2.0 gas shocks are available.

Chris Alston’s Chassisworks has added a selection of billet antisway bar links to its gStreet product line. The gStreet end links utilize Chassisworks’ low-friction, high-misalignment pivot mechanism to eliminate free-play for a more positive connection. The threaded pivot assembly design allows tightening of the joint if free-play develops over time and facilitates simple rebuilding if needed. Pivot ends require 5⁄8-inch-diameter bores at the antisway bar and suspension mounts and are available in 90-degree or inline styles. The current product selection can accommodate installation lengths of 31⁄4 to 81⁄4 inches with adjustment ranges of 1-2 inches depending on application.

The top of the ATV features a large striking anvil for forming and shaping and an integrated carrying handle located beneath the anvil. The ATV also is equipped with two sets of replaceable jaws (straight and V-groove).

The Eastwood Company now offers Patina Preserver, which is a durable, clear protective coating that preserves a weathered, patina’d look. Patina Preserver creates a safe, invisible barrier between weathered paint, worn metal, and natural elements to prevent further rust and deterioration. It is virtually invisible, so it doesn’t alter the gloss or look of the finish. Patina Preserver is packaged in an aerosol can for easy application, and just two to three light coats provides up to 12 months of UV and weather protection. One can covers 12-16 square feet.

Got a JK Wrangler? Then you’re probably used to your hood fluttering at freeway speeds or when traveling into a stiff headwind. Off Road Only created its bolt-on Hop-Stopper to cure this very phenomenon. Unlike stiffer aftermarket hood latches that can place a strain on the factory sheetmetal, the Hop-Stopper bolts between the hood latch hook to firmly secure the hood while driving and to eliminate flutter. It bolts on in less than 30 minutes and costs less than $60.
