In loose sand, dirt, and on the rocks, traction is exceptional, for an all-terrain. We aired the tires down to about 15 psi and hit some local trails. The tires grabbed and held onto the jagged rocks at our local wheeling spot better than expected. The outer lugs are spaced pretty far apart from one another and the center tread blocks, providing bite approaching that of a mud terrain. When on loose dirt, the tires clawed and grabbed as they should without digging in. On packed dirt, the sharp edges and siping helped maintain control of the vehicle.
