If you are having problems finding a water pump for your older Jeep, or you just aren't happy with the parts store replacements, maybe a restoration is right for you. Howard Stewart takes whatever pump you send the company and carefully disassembles it, cleans it, and then machines it to accept the latest OEM components. One Stop Painting
If you are tired of your local paint shop's inflated prices and angry counter guy, look no further than the largest mail-order retailer of performance automotive parts for relief. Nuke Those Smells
If you ever owned a Jeep that had a leaking door, windshield, or top seal, you know that awful mildew smell that greets or greeted you every day. Usually we just remove the carpet and deal with the noise and heat. Next time, we are going to use the Auto Vaccine. Just add water to the pouch while placed in a cup in the interior of your Jeep, and the highest level antimicrobial gas will permeate everything in your interior, removing smells and little nasties from carpet, vents, headliner, and even seats for a stench-free Jeep. Information: Odor Science, 201/634-8744, theautovaccine.com

Jeeping Suitcase
For most of us "Jeep" is a way of life, so why not have a suitcase that can handle all that we or our Jeep or the baggage abusers down at the airport can dish out? Made from sturdy ABS with reinforced corners featuring multi-directional four-wheel system, a padded interior with elastic tie-down straps and an interior divider panel, this suitcase isn't just another pretty face, it is functional too. Available in 20-, 24-, and 29-inch sizes--they are all available in either charcoal or black. Information: Jeep, 600/789-5337, jeep.com

Loss-Proof Caps
Airing down is a normal part of wheeling, and we tend to forget to put a valve stem cap back on more often than we'd care to admit. Capsure Tethered Caps solve that problem by always having the cap attached to the valve stem. No more leaving the cap on the tire and driving away. As an added bonus, the caps feature O-rings so if your valve stem seal is leaking for whatever reason, these caps will help keep pressure in the tire until you can repair it. Information: Capsure, 818/884-4669, capsuretirecaps.com

TIG, Dummy
Most of us are MIG welders and haven't seriously looked at stepping up to TIG welding. Whether you haven't looked at it because it was too expensive to get a machine, or the controls intimidated you, Miller Electric Manufacturing has taken away all our excuses with the Diversion 165. Starting right around $1,200 street price and with only a few controls on the front of the box TIG isn't any harder than MIG welding anymore. With a good crisp arc start, the ability to weld any almost any metal, and a great finish weld to anyone with any hand-eye coordination, this is the welder for that finished look. Information: Miller Electric Manufacturing., 800/426-4553, millerwelds.com

Custom Wheel Finish
The Metallight coating from Helios Coatings, is a patented, environmentally friendly decorative metal coating that meets or exceeds the OEM durability testing standards for external use as a replacement for chrome. It can be applied to any metal and is available in many colors and tints. The picture shows the Metallight-coated wheel on the left and a stock aluminum rim on the left after undergoing salt testing. Information: Helios Coatings, Inc, 330/430-9990, helioscoatingsinc.com

Heat for any Jeep
Shown here is a small version of the available heaters from Heater Craft, but the company makes all sizes of heaters that will warm even the largest interior. Water-fed and electric heaters are available, and many models are available with ducting. Information: Heater Craft, 208/687-4400, heatercraft.com
