TJ Bonnet Replacement
Cervini's Auto Designs might be a new name to you, but the company isn't new to fiberglass and has introduced not one but two high-quality bolt-on fiberglass hoods for the '97-'06 TJ. The 3-inch cowl induction hood (pictured) features screened rear air vents while the ram-air hood includes a billet grille and helps cool underhood temperatures. Both hoods are of hand-laid fiberglass construction with a finished underhood liner that can be painted to match the Jeep, includes all necessary installation hardware, and utilize the OEM hinges and latch. Grand Clearancing
With the new fiberglass fender flares from Iceland Off-Road, you can clear 35-inch tires on your ZJ or WJ Grand Cherokee with only 4 inches of lift. Not some weak fly-by-night flares, these things can not only take a beating, but give you a more finished factory look doing so, and they extend out 2 inches from the body to help keep your Jeep street legal, even with the wider tires. The flares come gel coated and ready for primer and paint. Information: Iceland Off-Road, 801/616-0925, icelandoffroad.com

Bolt-In Sun
If you are tired of the 50-year-old technology in your Jeep's grille, upgrade to this bolt-in HID solution from Electrosport Industries. If you have a Jeep and 7-inch round headlights, you are halfway to much better night vision. This kit retails at $299.99 as of press time and includes everything you need to bolt-in headlights that work. The moving Hi-Low lamp optics provides instant switching between beams, and HID lights last way longer than any filament-powered light out there. Needabumper
It doesn't matter if you've got a '76 CJ-7 or a '09 Wrangler; the Rugged Ridge XHD Front Bumper System has you covered. It is a modular bumper base that you can then pick and choose what accessories to add to it or build it up over time-basically it is a hundred different bumpers in one. The base bumper is available with an integrated winch mount or a standard light mount and includes D-ring and foglight mounting locations. Some available options are: RRC Mount Tube Bumper, Hoop Overrider B ar, and Front Stinger. Information: Omix-Ada, 770/614-6101, omix-ada.com

154 0908 05 z+new jeep stuff+filter

Fresh Breathing
If you go wheeling in dusty conditions, you know that rolling up the windows and turning on the HVAC usually results in a cloud of dust. That is because there is no air intake filter for the cabin of your Jeep. If you want clean air, you either put on "recirculate" (if you have A/C) and wait for the dust storm to settle, or you install this clean cabin air intake from Off Road Trail Tools. Designed for all '98-'06 Wranglers, it mounts on the cowl and is designed from a high-grade polyethylene to resist UV rays. A micro layer cotton construction in the removable filter keeps the dirt out. Information: Off Road Trail Tools, 520/579-2079, offroadtrailtools.com

Juice for the JK
It doesn't matter if you want or need two batteries, it is just cool. Now, '07 and up Wrangler owners can bolt in more power with the M.O.R.E. Dual Battery Tray. This easy bolt-in kit requires no drilling, fits two group 34, 34/78, or stock batteries side-by-side, comes powdercoated black, and allows the stock air filter assembly to be retained. All you need to do is provide batteries and wiring and you can install two batteries in your JK in a day with no power tools. Better Jacking
One of the biggest issues with having to drop the skidplate on many Jeeps when working alone is where to put the floor jack, the jackstand, and then constantly trying to work around them for whatever you are doing. Well, no more. The Universal Drivetrain Jack from Advance Adapters hooks to your frame or unibody and raises the transmission and transfer case out of the way without having to touch the ground. Now you can not only stop hugging the floor jack, but you can actually have the ability to roll the Jeep around while the skidplate is out without having to play the how-to-make-the-drivetrain-hover game. 154 0908 08 z+new jeep stuff+engine

614-Horse Street Engine
Bolt in 610hp and 550 ft/lbs of torque with this GM LS-based engine. Available as a short-block, long-block, complete engine or premium engine, the "family" is based on the new GM L92 block with a 4-inch-stroke crank, 6.125-inch connecting rods, and forged aluminum pistons fitted with high-performance rings. Wegner Motorsports has selected the perfect custom-ported cylinder heads, camshaft, valvetrain and induction systems to make this an engine you could drive on the street or romp on in the mud. Row, Row, Row the Jeep
We've all seen rocker guards, but what if we told you the new Mini Boat Side Rocker Guards from Gen-Right Off Road over 11/4-inch more ground clearance under the edge of the rocker than a standard rocker guard? All the good stuff is here: 3/16-inch steel plate, a super-grip dimple-die step plate, included stainless steel hardware, and up-sized 13/4-inch DOM tube that sticks out from the body the same amount as your flares. You don't have to cut the body to put these rockers on, they are sold unpainted, and 4 inches longer to accommodate a wheelbase stretch (if you want 'em shorter, cut 'em to length). Leak-Proof Concrete
We all know the old adage: If the Jeep isn't leaking, it is out of fluids. It might be sad, but it's true that we live with unsightly oil stains in our garage from our Jeeps. Well now we can reclaim our garage floors at least with the Rock Solid Floors do-it-yourself, roll-on floor coating. This kit is different from garage floor coatings you are familiar with because it is not an epoxy and the company claims it will not crack, peel, or discolor the way epoxy floor paints do.
