Bulletproof Your Muffler
This is not your daddy's muffler cover. It is a dual-layer cover that can dramatically reduce interior temperatures. The Kevlar side that goes against the muffler can handle up to 1,100 degrees, while the exterior Mylar side is very tough and abrasion resistant. Not only will it reduce ambient heat into your interior, it can dampen resonance from the muffler and is shipped with stainless steel straps for easy insulation. Trussed JK
If you run hard, you need a truss for your '07-'10 Wrangler axle, especially if you have a 4-door model or you are rough on parts. The JK axles are way beefier than anything under a universal Jeep before, but with the added weight of the bigger body and frame, they can be overwhelmed. The Treks Offroad truss stiffens your JK axles and takes the guesswork out of installing a truss. Sure, you have to weld it in, but it only can go on the axle one way. You can also order the truss with TJ mounts if you are swapping JK axles under your TJ at home. Information: Treks Offroad Equipment, 307/775-9565, gotreks.com

Analog A/F
AEM is known for its unsurpassed accuracy and analog output for use with data loggers but is now available in an analog gauge. The analog gauge is dimmable, the backlighting adjustable to seven different colors, and is available in a black or white gauge face with black or silver interchangeable bezels. Another benefit of the analog gauge over the digital is that you can see it much easier in direct sunlight. Information: AEM Power, 310/484-2322, aempower.com

Hard Nose
These 58-inch-wide EXT series bumpers from Garvin Wilderness Products feature two light tabs, clevis mounts, and are compatible with Warn winches. Designed for the '07-'10 JK, they are powdercoated, include all necessary mounting hardware, fabricated from 2x5x3/16-inch tubing, and no drilling is needed for installation. Information: Garvin Wilderness Products, 619/440-7415, wildernessracks.com

Light and Heavy
Lightweight thanks to aluminum construction, and heavy-duty thanks to 3/16-inch-thick 6061 makes for a great replacement for your dented-up stock tinfoil TJ gas tank skid. Saavy Off Road came up with this skid after years of bashing out in the world-famous Hammers trails. The skid also features dual-height mounting options so that you can gain extra ground clearance if you've got a body lift on your Jeep. Information: Saavy Off-Road, 949/795-0909, saavyoffroad.com

Strong Nine
The Fabricated 9-inch housing from Currie Enterprises features a 3/16-inch-thick Hi-Form 50 steel body, a 3/8-inch-thick Hi-Form 50 steel 3rd member mounting face, and is machined to fit 3-inch or 3 1/4-inch tubes. Welded-in bulkheads inside the housing tie the face, the body, and the inner ends of the tubes together and the exclusive design provides maximum ground clearance at all pinion angles. Information: Currie Enterprises, 714/528-6957, currieenterprises.com

Rough and Ready
Long-arm lift kits are great but often require the costly replacement of the belly skidplate or welding parts on somewhere along the line. This new kit from Rough Country Suspension for the '97-'06 Wrangler allows use of whatever skidplate you currently have and has an MSRP of $1295 for the 4-inch kit. That gets you springs, shocks, arms, control arm mounting brackets, drop pitman arm, rear track bar bracket, front sway bar disconnects, rear extended sway bar links, longer stainless steel front and rear brake lines, and bumpstop extensions. Information: Rough Country Suspension, 800/222-7023, roughcountry.com.

White Knuckle Rocker
Not all of us want to drill holes through the side of our Jeep to mount rocker guards. Featuring 3/16-inch steel tubing with 1 3/4-inch tubing and 1/4-inch-thick gusseted mounting plates that bolt to the frame, these things will take a hit. You can order the rockers with the tubes welded-on flat or at a 20-degree angle for added ground clearance and more door protection. It's available in semi-gloss black or bare metal and ships with all needed installation hardware and instructions. Information: White Knuckle Offroad, 760/628-9338, white-knuckleoffroad.com

Keep It In
We all love our animals and kids, but worrying about them hanging out of the back of the Jeep often keeps us from putting the top down on nice days. Well, no more. The Roc Soc from Roc Dog Fabrication not only keeps the little ones in, but keeps sticky fingers out. It's made of UV-resistant netting that fits snugly over the roll bars on YJ or TJ Wranglers and fastens snugly to the tub with ladder locks and straps ; steel supports sewn-into the 1/4-inch netting keep tension. Information: Roc Dog Fabrication, 720/563-7932, rocdogfab.com
