Outdoor Knife
The AO F.A.S.T. 3.0 from Gerber Knives is aimed directly at the outdoor market, which makes it a good option for Jeep owners. It features an assisted-opening 3-inch drop point blade available in plain and partially-serrated edges. The carabiner that makes for easy attachment to almost anything also doubles as a bottle opener. If you want to pocket-carry it, there is also a convenient clip. The deep thumb grooves maximize grip for when your paws are covered in Jeep goo. Information: Gerber Gear, 800/950-6161, gerbergear.com

Premium Organization
We all know that space is at a premium in our short wheelbase Jeeps, but until now the only way to solve the issue has been to get a bigger Jeep or heap things willy-nilly in various racks. The Intelligent Rack from Smittybilt is manufactured from 3/16-inch steel and attaches to any factory or aftermarket Jeep tire carrier. It includes all the necessary hardware to mount a Hi Lift Jack and a Gerry Can and it is fully adjustable so that you can mount them anywhere on the rack that makes sense for you. Information: Smittybilt, 888/717-5797, smittybilt.com

Hide-Away
If you don't have space in your dashboard for a radio, have an old-school Jeep and don't want to ruin it by hacking up the dash, or just want to hide the radio out of the elements, the Secret Audio SST might be for you. It boasts 200 watts of power, a USB port, auxiliary inputs, ipod interface and control, AM/FM CD controller, satellite radio input, and the LCD shows song, artist, and title. All controls can be manipulated up to 40 feet away via the included remote control. Information: Custom Autosound, 800/888-8637, custom-autosound.com

Spare Tank
The new 20- and 25-gallon auxiliary fuel tanks for '07-present JK can double your fuel capacity and range. It bolts in where your factory muffler resides and uses a transfer pump to fill your stock tank. A special Y-shaped adapter allows easy filling of both tanks from the factory fuel filler. Because it uses all the factory emissions equipment and can accept your stock pump, it can be used in place of the stock mid-mounted tank as well. The tank is made out of 1/8-inch-thick aluminum, while the included skidplate is 3/16-inch-thick steel. Information: Gen-Right Off Road, 805/584-8635, genright.com

Bolted Beef
If you are looking to replace the Dumbo wings on your JK but don't want to hack and drill as is required for many fender flares, these XRC fenders might be for you. They are made from 3/16-inch cold-rolled steel and are powdercoated in a signature two-stage textured finish. They are a complete bolt-on using the included stainless steel fasteners. The side ducts are removable for easy installation of a snorkel and they provide more tire clearance than stock. A complete inner liner is included to keep mud and snow out of the engine compartment and the side plates are easily removable. Information: Smittybilt, 888/717-5797, smittybilt.com

Third
File this under the category of "Why didn't the factory think of that?" Since the four-door JK was released, we expected a third row seating option to show up. Since the factory never stepped up, TeraFlex has. This simple steel bracket allows four-door owners to bolt a two-door rear seat down in the cargo area and retain the factory fold-and-tumble feature. The bracket is CNC-cut and has a durable powdercoat finish. The seat can be mounted in either front-facing or rear-facing orientations and is removable without tools. Information: TeraFlex, 801/288-2585, teraflx.biz

Steel Lights
These steel light boxes from Warrior Products are a strong and low-buck alternative to constantly replacing your tree-prone JK tail lights. Available blank, with one 4-inch light cutout, or with a 4-inch and 11/2-inch cutouts, they come powdercoated in semi-gloss black. Some minor cutting is required for fitment and the company also offers light kits and load resistors (if you opt for LED lights). Information: Warrior Products, 888/220-6861, warriorproducts.com

Sypder-Covered Rear
This is a bumper that was never really intended for public consumption. It was originally designed for Poison Spyder's owner, Larry McRae, to provide a 60-degree departure angle with 40-inch tires. The bumper is CNC laser-cut from 3/16-inch plate steel, brake-formed for an exact fit, and offers optional 1-inch-thick plate steel shackle tabs. If you don't want the maximum clearance and departure angle possible, stay tuned, as Poison Spyder will soon have a full-featured full line of bumpers for the JK. Information: Poison Spyder Customs, 951/849-5911, poisonspyder.com

Blockhead-Less
With some of the manufacturing capabilities available to us today, why would anyone want a squared-off rack that makes your Jeep look like Herman Munster? The curves of the Baja Rack aren't only for good looks, though; it also helps shed low-hanging tree limbs when you hit them. These racks are made from steel and feature a zinc primer with a black powdercoat finish and are currently available for the two- and four-door JK. Information: Baja Rack, 760/621-0171, bajarack.com

Cut-It-Out
If you've got a V-8 in your Jeep and are tired of the droning of your high-flow performance exhaust, you should check these cut-outs, er, out. You can run a bearable exhaust on the street, and use the gear-reduction drive powered by a 12VDC motor and rotating gate when you want to cut loose. Race-day is only the push of an illuminated rocker switch away. The cut-outs are available in singles and duals and the Y-pipe design makes for an easy install; they are available in 21/2- and 3-inch diameters. Information: Doug's Headers, 909/599-5955, pertronix.com

Advanced Placement Stick
We have been running an Intellistick in our '98 Cherokee for a while now, and the company has stepped up with optional in-dash gauge and 30-day storage of oil condition data. There are two gauges available-either a warning-light-based gauge, or a gauge that includes an LED numeric readout. The gauge means that you no longer have to carry around a Bluetooth-enabled device. The software has been tweaked to more easily monitor needed maintenance intervals and the available threaded sensor can be located for more accurate monitoring of oil level to keep off-camber false-positives at bay. Information: Intellistick, Inc, 888/812-5988, intellistick.com

Big 10-inch
Warrior Products has had tube flares for the JK on the market for a while and is now introducing a 10-inch-wide flare, which is 21/2 inches over the flares that the company has on the market now. The tube is a 1.5-inch OD and is available in a black powdercoat finish while the top plate is available in polished, powdercoated, and powdercoated diamond plate to match your personal taste. The bolt-on installation makes it easy and there is an optional LED light kit with wiring harness available that mounts to the leading edge of the flare. Information: Warrior Products, 888/220-6861, warriorproducts.com

Frame-Built
This bumper system bolts to the frame of your CJ, YJ, TJ, or JK and is totally customizable. The system includes winch-ready bases in aluminum, mild steel, and stainless steel as well as a variety of end caps, fairleads, shackle mounts, and hoop designs. The base is 3/16-inch-thick whether you option hot-rolled steel, stainless steel or 5052-H38 aluminum. The options allow you to outfit your bumper base for whatever your adventure-be it rock crawler, mud-bogger, or desert-basher, there is a configuration for you.
