Not Rough at All
The new 31/2-inch lift for the JK from Rough Country isn't. It is designed to mirror the quality and fit and finish of the OE components while increasing off-road prowess. This is a complete kit and features an innovative track-bar bracket features an extra mounting hole for fixing one of the notorious weak spots the JK has. The new N2.0 shocks feature self-adjusting velocity-sensitive valving that allows for a super smooth highway ride and outstanding control in the dirt. GenRight Off Road has proudly introduced its twisted pitman arm for Jeeps with lifted or long-travel suspension. By twisting the arm, the rod end is in the middle of its range of motion when at rest. The double-sheer design makes it stronger than the stock pitman arm and the included 5/8-inch Grade 8 mounting hardware will put up with anything you can throw at it. These new roof racks from Rocky Ridge are made out of stainless steel. They can easily transport canoes, kayaks, and other big and bulky off-road gear. They feature curved and brushed stainless steel construction and mounting hardware. We can't always afford the best tools either, and we often wish for other sized dies for our Harbor Freight tubing roller. The new snatch and tree straps from Viking Off Road are color-coded for easy identification. The orange snatch strap is available in a single- or double-ply 2-inch by 30-foot size. Get rid of that nasty, cruddy plastic coolant overflow tank with these TIG-welded aluminum tanks from Canton Racing Products. The new JK front bumper from OR-Fab is a stubby design with a 2-inch, 0.120-wall diameter tube to protect the grille. The bumper is made out of 3/16-inch steel plate with 3/4-inch-thick shackle mounts and 1/4-inch-thick steel mounting brackets. It is available in winch and non-winch styles in gloss black or wrinkle-finish powdercoat. The bumper is made in the USA and includes the shackles as well. Synthetic winch lines are great, but if you really wheel you need to protect them from trail hazards. Viking Offroad has been making synthetic winch lines for years and has introduced a removable padded sleeve that can be used on any line and then stowed when not in use. It is made from heavy-duty nylon and uses three 2-inch patches of Velcro to close around the winch cable. There is thick felt padding sewn into the bottom of the sleeve to further protect against hazards and some 3M Ultra High Reflective Safety Tape provides visibility day or night.
