Universal Strap Down
The Utility Net from Safari Straps is a universal solution to holding down your gear. Instead of using those weak spider web nets, pick up some of these. The Utility Net is available in 1-inch and 2-inch strap widths for extra strength. The Utility Nets have multiple tie-down points, are available in three sizes, and can be attached to roll bars or footman loops. The rings are nickel-plated metal and the cam buckles are zinc-plated steel. Information: Safari Straps, 661/294-3000, safaristraps.com

Boost Bling
If you want to lift your JK but don't want mess with polyurethane and don't want to worry about steel rusting, Ready-Lift has the solution for you. The company's boost kits are machined out of 6061-T6 aluminum and the adjustable kit will lift the front of your Jeep either 1, 11/2, or 2 inches. The kits include grade 10.9 metric bolts and a lifetime warranty. Information: Ready-Lift, 800/549-4620, readylift.com

Load Spotter
If you have a larger Jeep or a Jeep truck, you know what a pain it can sometimes be to get into your fully packed cooler or fridge. The Load Spotter Levitating Slide can make getting to your food a snap thanks to a slide-and-drop setup. Heck, it could even be handy if you had a cooler-shaped storage box you wanted to get into. It both slides out and drops down for easy access to your stuff. It is made from high-quality steel with ball-bearing slides that can take a lot of weight and can be outfitted with a slide-out cutting board as well. Information: Tembo Tusk, 714/396-4549, tembotusk.com

AX188
American Racing Wheels is proud to introduce the AX188, a deep-dished spoke aluminum wheel that features a clean design with a bolt at the end of every spoke. It is available in many bolt patterns in 15x7, 16x8, 17x8, 18x9, and 20x9 sizes. It comes in your choice of chrome or Teflon finish (which is better for brake dust and weather resistance). Information: American Racing Wheels, 800/959-1969, americanracing.com

Simply Abusive
If you have a TJ and have blown up your plastic license plate mount it is time to upgrade. This mount is made from HRPO steel, wraps tightly around the corner of the Jeep, and provides a skid of sorts at the leading edge to keep from peeling your license plate back every time you rub that corner. The kit includes all mounting hardware and will work for TJ, LJ, CJ-7, CJ-8, and YJs with a custom filler mount. It is available either with or without three LED marker lights. No Muss, No Fuss
It seems we are constantly at battle with our oil pan drain plugs. Between stripped threads, constant leaks, and dropping it in the drain pan we often look for a better way. Enter Fumoto. This quick-release, ball-valve engine oil drain valve lets the oil out with just 1/4-turn of the lever and directs the oil thanks to a short spout. The lever itself is spring-loaded and locking to eliminate accidental opening and the valve is OE-approved by the likes of Nissan, Mazda, Isuzu, Kenworth, and Peterbuilt. Now you can easily change your oil with no tools and no more leaking. Information: Fumoto Engineering of America, 425/869-7771, oildrainvalve.com

Easy Bass
We first heard of these self-contained and easy-to-install Kicker self-powered subwoofers a couple of years ago at the very beginning of their development, and are pleased to announce that they are now available. With these powered subs you can easily move or remove them when you need more space in your Jeep, thanks to the plug-and-play wiring and Velcro-strap mounting solutions. They are great for those Jeeps built before subs were available as an option or for those Jeeps with shot factory subs. They are available with a single 8-inch driver, single 10-inch driver, single 12-inch driver, or dual 12-inch driver version. The boxes contain the durable high-end amplifiers and subwoofers we have come to expect from Kicker, and add a remote bass control, adjustable low-pass crossover, and subsonic filters. Information: Stillwater Designs, 800/256-5425, kicker.com

Better Bolt-in Butt
We just aren't fans of the '03-'06 Wrangler front seat with its lowered seating height and reduction of rear visibility. Fortunately, Rugged Ridge has released a bolt-in replacement. It also fits '97-'02 Wranglers and '87-'01 Cherokees. The patent-pending seat base allows for installation without adapter brackets and the seat frame is powdercoated black. Wide seat bolsters and dense memory foam provide plenty of comfort and support. The seats are available in four styles: Sierra, Reclining, Ultra, and Off Road. They also come in a variety of factory-match colors and feature a 3-year limited warranty. Information: Omix-Ada, 770-614-6101, omix-ada.com

Heavy-handed
There are many problems that we just accept when it comes to winches. They are heavy. They are mounted to the front of the Jeep so if you need it on the side or rear you are beat. If you lose power to it you are done. If you have ever used a Hi-Lift as a winch you know how tedious it can be, and regular come-alongs just aren't heavy-duty enough. The Wyeth-Scott Company has been building these More Power Pullers hand winches since 1934, and the company is now offering it with up to 35 feet of 5/16-inch-diameter Amsteel synthetic winch rope. They can dead-lift up to 6,000 pounds and pull up to 12,000 pounds, making them a perfect, go-anywhere, fix-anything puller. Information: Wyeth-Scott Company, 800/743-4521, wyeth-scott.com
