Suspension Sensitive

Bilstein introduces the new B8 8112 ZoneControl CR shocks for the ’05-’17 Toyota Tacoma. The bolt-on shock system provides damping through three compression zones and two rebound zones, all controlled by three fully independent, position-sensitive internal pistons. Costly secondary bumpstops and finicky limit straps are said to be no longer needed. The B8 8112 ZoneControl CR is said to take care of it all by controlling every inch of stroke in both directions. The external coilover spring rate is vehicle-specific and preloaded to factory specifications. The threaded retainer still allows an additional 2 inches of ride height adjustment. A 60mm remote reservoir provides increased oil capacity for enhanced cooling. The B8 8112 ZoneControl CR shocks will be joined by the position-sensitive B8 8100 rear bypass shock. Rack It Up

Rusty’s Off-Road introduces its new roof racks as a solution to the limited storage space in Jeep vehicles. Each roof rack frame is constructed of 1/8-inch-thick laser-cut steel with dimpled holes for additional strength and decreased weight over traditional roof racks. All of the steel components have a gloss black powdercoat finish. The floor of the rack is made of aluminum box tubing. The modular design allows the racks to be shipped in compact boxes, which saves on shipping, and the entire rack is assembled with stainless steel fasteners. The Rusty’s roof rack measures 46.5x40.25x3.25 inches. Mounting brackets are currently available for ’84-’01 Jeep XJ Cherokees and ’93-’98 ZJ Grand Cherokees. Mounting brackets for other models are in the works. Like all of Rusty’s suspension products, the new roof racks are made in the USA. Info: Rusty’s Off-Road, 256/442-0607,
