New Truck Products Filter

Filter It
According to Fram, the company's new SureDRAIN fast-access oil change system offers the do-it-yourselfer instant, safe, no-tools oil changing with the turn of a wrist. The trick is in the tool's simple valve design. It features a leak-proof actuator valve that serves as a permanent replacement for the standard drain plug. With this system installed, when you're ready to drain your engine's oil, you attach the drain hose to the valve. When the hose gets turned, oil begins to flow. Once the draining is complete, you turn the hose again to close the valve, then remove the hose and install a twist-on dust cover that protects the actuator valve from getting dirty. New Truck Products Net

Capture It
The Bednet uses a tough 2-inch polyester webbing that's sewn together with industrial-strength polyester thread to keep the tools, planks, air tanks and everything else you throw into your bed in the bed. Thanks to its patented nylon quick-tie buckles, you can rest assured the bednet will stay put and not scratch up your bed's walls. The net comes with a storage case that can easily slide behind a seat. Contact: Bednet, Dept. FW, P.O. Box 6091, Knoxville, TN 37914, 866/4BEDNET, www.thebednet.com.

New Truck Products Step

Step Up
Step up into your pickup's bed much more easily with the new SAF-T-Step from Rodon. The step features a single-step retractable ladder with a removable handrail. The step manually unfolds into the step position and with the simple release of a pull-pin retracts back into the tailgate. The piece is made of heat-treated cast aluminum that's coated with nonslip paint. The SAF-T-Step can withstand loads up to 400 pounds. Contact: Rodon, Dept. FW, 310 N. 5th St., St. Charles, IL 60174, 630/232-1477, www.rodoncorp.com.
