Dana 60 Hubs
Dynatrac announces its new DynaLoc locking hub kits for Dana 60 axles. Truly the first new locking hub design in 20 years, DynaLoc, made 100 percent in the U.S., is an essential component of reliable four-wheeling. Made from heat-treated, chromoly steel, the unique gear-tooth design will not disengage under high torque load and is three times stronger than other Dana 60 locking hubs. The low-profile knob assembly decreases impact with rocks and other obstacles while the stainless steel bezel resists impact and scrapes when contact is made. For more reliable operation, the DynaLoc defaults to the locked position as opposed to other popular hubs that default to the unlocked position. Replacement kits to upgrade OEM Dana 60 axles using 35-spline axles will be available, and for the first time ever a version for 40-spline axles will allow the economy, safety, and convenience of unlocking for even the most extreme off-road vehicles. Ready For Raw, Throaty Sound?
Dynomax just came out with a new exhaust cut-out "Y" pipe designed to work with DMH Performance Exhaust cut-out valves. Exhaust cutouts let the engine breathe easier by dumping exhaust gases out after the headers or manifolds, effectively creating an open exhaust system. At the push of a button, you can open or close the DMH valve instantly. The "Y" pipes are I.D.-sized for simple slip-fit installation with no welding required. The setup uses a loose flange at the valve side of the Y. This makes installation in tight spaces a snap. Each part is sold separately through each company. Sizes range from 2.25-inch all the way up to 4-inch for diesel applications. Info: DMH Performance, 513/753-3866, www.dmhperformance.com; DynoMax, 734/384-7806, www.dynomax.com
