August 2007 4X4 Products Air Intake

Ram-Air Intake For Ford F-150
Banks now offers a cold-air intake system that dramatically improves the breathing capacity of '04-'07 Ford F-150 pickups. Together with its High-Ram intake plenum, Banks Ram-Air Intake System outflows the stock setup up to 79 percent. Banks' lifetime Ram-Air filter has eight plies and deep filter pleats for maximum high-flow filtration. The large filter and outlet provide a greater filter area, resulting in fewer filter cleanings and more sustained performance. The Banks engineers gave every component a wide-open, streamlined design. And to give the engine greater power, Banks' complete air filter housing draws in the cooler, denser, under-vehicle air. It's available separately or as part of Banks' Stinger and Power Pack systems. Information: 877/227-5610, www.bankspower.com

August 2007 4X4 Products Ford Diesel Exhaust

Exhaust Options For 2008 Power Stroke
MagnaFlow Performance Exhaust, after extensively researching and testing the new '08 6.4L Ford Power Stroke and its particulate filter system, has now released nine stainless steel exhaust options for the vehicle. MagnaFlow's engineers have developed these particulate filter-back systems to provide a performance increase, more attractive intercooled tip options (allowing up to 15 percent better cooling than the OE tips), and a lifetime warranty (all without affecting the truck's computer system or particulate filter system). These stainless steel exhaust systems encompass three different MagnaFlow exhaust lines to fit any budget. Peak power gains of the systems over the stock exhaust are up to 24 hp and 36 lb-ft of torque for the 4-inch single-exit system, and up to 29 hp and 45 lb-ft of torque for the 5-inch single-exit system. These systems fit the F-250, F-350, and F-450 Super Duty trucks with the crew-cab shortbed, crew-cab longbed, or extended-cab longbed configurations with either single- or dual-rear wheels.
