LS Series Rings
Total Seal announces that its AP (Advanced Profiling) steel-top ring sets have been greatly expanded to include LS1 through LS6, LS2, and LS7 Chevrolet engine applications. Ring packs feature a choice of conventional ductile moly or AP steel-top ring in either gapless or conventional styles for overbore sizes ranging from 0.005 to 0.035 inch. Also available are ring packs for use with aftermarket pistons using the 1.5, 1.5, 3.0 ring pack in bore sizes ranging from 4.000 to 4.185 inch. They too come with AP steel-top rings in either gapless or conventional styles. Total Seal AP Advanced Profiling steel rings were engineered for racing, yet are easy on the cylinder walls. They're lighter, stronger, thinner, and flatter and will likely outlast any other piston rings available on the market today. This provides more options for high-performance engine builders looking for more horsepower. Info: 800/874-2753, www.totalseal.com
New ACOS For JK
Nothing beats a coil-spring spacer when you want to boost your Jeep's ride height without breaking the bank. But how long will you be satisfied with the extra elevation, and will those fixed-height spacers accommodate future suspension changes? If you're serious about suspension performance, statistics indicate that you'll outgrow the limitations of standard coil spacers sooner than you think. For those who prefer to plan for the future, ACOS from JKS are a smart alternative. Installation instantly provides 1 inch of extra clearance to make room for larger tires. Without removing any components, ride height can be increased an additional 11/2 inches for a total gain of 21/2 inches. Whether used with the factory coil springs to retain their supple ride quality, or combined with taller aftermarket coil springs for maximum clearance gains, the threaded ACOS design allows extremely precise adjustments. High-MPG Gears for Dodge Ram
American Axle & Manufacturing (AAM) just brought out a new exclusive aftermarket 3.42:1 PowerDense gearset for all '03-'07 Dodge Ram Heavy Duty 2500/3500 turbodiesel pickups. AAM Aftermarket designed this new ratio as an alternative to the numerically higher ratios currently available. The lower ratio set reduces engine rpm, which helps improve fuel economy under normal driving conditions, which excludes hauling, climbing grades, or pulling a trailer. In other words, if you use a Dodge Ram as a daily driver, these gears will help you achieve better fuel economy. The 3.42:1 ring-and-pinion is designed to fit inside the original equipment AAM 9.25-inch front and 11.5-inch rear axles without modifications to the transmission or the truck's onboard computer. In pre-'07 pickups the front axle requires a new redesigned differential case along with new side and differential pinion gears. All '07 models have the advantage of coming with a factory-installed redesigned differential case, and side and pinion gears, making the installation process easier. Info: 800/299-AXLE, www.aam.com

Increase Load Capacity
This is the Roadmaster Active Suspension (RAS). What it does is deliver improved vehicle handling, hauling safety, fuel economy, and reductions in vehicle wear. RAS is a patented design that improves performance of rear leaf-spring suspension systems on a wide variety of pickups and vans. The system significantly enhances stability and control while also increasing the load-carrying capacity. Further, the manufacturer claims significant increases in fuel economy and reductions in tire wear when carrying a load. RAS is a bolt-on system that consists of two powerful variable-rate coil springs that support and assist the rear leaf springs. By applying 1,800 pounds of tension between the axle and the eye of each of the leaf springs, RAS keeps the springs in their original and best-functioning bowed position.
