This ’42 M3A1 is owned by collector Pat Nicholson. Its last military service was with the Greek Army but it may have seen service with the French Army before that. Noted MV restorer Jesse Browning brought it back to life in 2008 and it took about three months of steady work. The repair parts came from Rod Shaver Military Vehicle Parts, in Chandler, Arizona. If the M3A1 looks familiar from this angle, bear in mind White also designed the American halftrack and built most of them. The halftrack front wrap looks very similar but there is next to no mechanical parts carryover. The front roller is to aid the vehicle crossing gullies.
