The rear suspension consists of 8-inch-lift BDS leaf springs and four 2.0 Series Fox Racing Shox mounted using a BDS Rear Dual Shock Mounting Kit. A pair of BDS ladder bars help keep the rearend planted. The rear axle is the stock Ford 10.5-inch and it’s fed by a shortened rear driveshaft. Two other noteworthy items are visible from this angle. First, there’s the heavily modified Gibson 4-inch-diameter exhaust. Originally designed for a regular cab longbed application, it was shortened and then modified to clear the passenger-side dual Fox shocks before being powdercoated black. Second, just in front of the axle you can see the 20-gallon Summit Racing fuel cell, which replaces the factory fuel tank.
