Under the fiberglass tilting hood is an electronically fuel-injected DT466 High Torque inline-six turbodiesel. At 1,400 rpm the engine makes 300hp and 860 lb-ft of torque. Glenn Harris of Magicmotorsports says, “The Ironrevenge CXT has a very noticeable increase in torque and power with the HP DT466. It is a big difference as my other truck (a CXT) is the 220 horsepower version. A huge difference.” The cooling system includes an engine-driven two-speed fan and 940 square-inch aluminum radiator. It also has a 1,025 square-inch charge air cooler and a 13.2 cfm Bendix Tu-Flo 550 air compressor that provides air for the brakes, interior front seats, cab, and other items. A 4"-diameter aluminized pipe with vertical chrome tailpipe carries the exhaust. The engine is coupled to an Allison 3000 five-speed automatic transmission. Power is split to the axles via a 10,000-pound capacity, PTO-equipped, electric-over-air-control Meritor T-4210 2 two-speed transfer case that weighs approx. 620 Lbs & has a 2.05:1 low ratio
