We then removed the arm and took it over to our drill press to drill it out to 3⁄4-inch to ensure the hole was square. After stepping up drill sizes several times to get to 3⁄4-inch, we used some thread locker on the upper arm bolts. Never install high-steer arms without thread locker, even if the bolts have lock washers. We’ve been using this gel-type red-tinted locker for a while now with great results.
