GenRight offers two mounts for the passenger-side knuckle, an angled one for Currie axles and a straight one for Dynatrac axles. Both are constructed from CNC-laser cut and formed 1⁄4-inch steel. At this point we hit a quandary however. The clearance between drag link and frame is only 21⁄4 inches and the drag link will hit the frame. GenRight tells us we can safely notch up to one thrid of the way into the frame and sleeve it with 3-inch-diameter, 0.250-wall DOM tube. Or, we could mount the drag link below the knuckle in double sheer with the tie rod. However, that would push the tie rod down and might force it to interfere with our leaf springs. Time to break out the tape measure and mock-up-ometer. More on this next time.
