A Built-To-The-Hilt Four-Door Wrangler

The Wrangler JK has been the bestselling Jeep since it was released in 2007. In just three years over 350,000 have been sold. Even in a recession the capable two- and four-door trail machines still sell like fresh tuna at a cat convention. This makes sense, as the JK Rubicon is one of the most capable vehicles ever to wear the Jeep logo. But as capable as the JK is, it can still be improved. Bigger is better, and more engine power is even greater.

Chris Coffey of Huntington Beach, California, has always had a soft spot for Jeeps, but the smaller, older-style machines didn't fit his lifestyle. Once the family-friendly four-door Wrangler Unlimited was released, he saw the opportunity to finally have the Jeep he always wanted. Chris took his new JK to Off-Road Evolution in Fullerton, California, and had the crew transform the competent four-door wheeler into the four-wheel monster it is today.
