Under the hood, front fenders, and grille (which are all welded together and swing up from the rear for easy access to the engine) is a Chevy 350. Grady has a drag-racing background that wouldn't allow him to plant a stocker on his custom framerails. Too much engine, however, leads to bad manners in a rockcrawler, so he filled the mill with TRW pistons and an Edelbrock Performer camshaft and topped it off with a Performer intake and a Q-jet carb. An engine-driven York compressor fills the framerails with air and pumps up the ARB Air Locker in the Dana 44 frontend.
