Shrink Ray Jeep TJ on Anaconda

So the other day I went wheeling just for fun. A friend of mine who is a car guy, but has never been out west or rock crawling was in town. So we loaded up Shrink Ray TJ and went out and hit some trails. I decided to go hit some local trails at Table Mesa, an off-road area north of Phoenix. We first went up a trail called Lower Terminator. It runs up a wash and has a few fun spots. Near the start is the beginning of another trail called Anaconda. I’ve had some troubles on Anaconda before, but I had been down it recently and after running Lower Terminator this day and feeling good I decided to hit Anaconda. The trail is named for a V-notch that squeezes you pretty good…like a big big snake. In the past I got hung up on a rock in this notch and broke a couple driveshaft u-joints. This time the notch was pretty easy, but the climb out of the notch was pretty steep and harry. The passenger side cowl and windshield lightly rubbed the rocks on the side of the trail and the radio antenna bought the farm, but Shrinky made the climb. The rest of the trail was fun, but the top of that notch was definitely the highlight. Here is a pic of the Jeep at the top of the climb out of the notch.

Made it!
